This document is published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, requiring the publication of rules, regulations, privacy policy, and terms of use for access or usage of www.holymatrimonyapp.com. 

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By registering on holymatrimonyapp.com, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. The platform provides a limited license to access and use its services for lawful matrimonial purposes only. 

Holy matrimony is intended solely to facilitate lawful marriage alliances between individuals who are legally eligible to marry. 

 

Definitions 

  • “Holymatrimonyapp.com Member” refers to any user accessing or using the platform.  

  • “Registrant” includes parents, relatives, or friends creating profiles on behalf of a prospective bride or groom.  

  • “User” and “You” refer to any member of Holy matrimony.  

 

Scope of Services 

Holy matrimony provides personalized matchmaking services for the duration of the selected membership package. 

  • Users can create profiles and search for suitable matches  

  • Profiles are categorized based on preferences such as region and language  

  • Both free and paid services are available  

  • Users can shortlist and contact potential matches  

Holy matrimony acts only as a platform and does not guarantee successful matches. 

 

Eligibility 

Membership is open to: 

  • Indian citizens  

  • Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)  

  • Non-Resident Indians (NRI)  

  • Individuals of Indian heritage  

  • Persons intending to marry someone of Indian origin  

Age Requirement: 

  • Women: 18 years and above  

  • Men: 21 years and above  

Users must be legally eligible to marry under applicable laws. 

If registering on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have their consent. 

 

Registration 

  • Users must provide accurate and complete information  

  • Profiles must contain recent photographs (not older than 3 months)  

  • Duplicate profiles are strictly prohibited  

  • Holymatrimony reserves the right to suspend or terminate false or misleading profiles  

Membership is strictly for individuals seeking marriage. Businesses or competitors are not allowed.

Code of Conduct 

Users must not: 

  • Engage in inappropriate or unlawful activities  

  • Share false or misleading information  

  • Use abusive or offensive language  

  • Promote relationships outside the purpose of marriage  

Violation may result in immediate suspension without refund.

Disputes Between Members 

Holymatrimony is not responsible for: 

  • Conversations between users  

  • Financial or personal transactions  

  • Any disputes arising between members  

 

Content Rights 

Users are solely responsible for the content they upload. 
By submitting content, you grant Holymatrimony rights to use it for platform services and promotions. 

 

Third-Party Services 

Holymatrimony may use third-party services and payment gateways but is not liable for their actions. 

 

Limitation of Liability 

Holymatrimony is not liable for: 

  • Match outcomes  

  • User interactions  

  • Data loss or misuse beyond reasonable control  

Services are provided on an “as-is” basis. 

 

Termination 

Holymatrimony reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations without refund. 

 

Jurisdiction 

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in: 

Tirur, Malappuram, Kerala, India 

 

Payments 

Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways. 
Services are activated only after successful payment realization. 

 

Refund and Assignment 

Membership is non-transferable. 
All payments (membership, renewal, auto-renewal) are non-refundable. 

 

Force Majeure 

Holymatrimony is not liable for service interruptions due to events beyond its control. 

 

Indemnity 

You agree to indemnify Holymatrimony against any claims arising from misuse of services or violation of terms. 

 

Arbitration (For NRI Users) 

Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Holymatrimony does not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles or behavior of members.
